About the artist
tuba
Tubist David Ostwald fell for Louis Armstrong as a teenager and never looked back. His Louis Armstrong Eternity Band has been a Wednesday fixture at Birdland for over two decades, serving up joyful, banjo-and-tuba hot jazz from Satchmo's songbook. He also spent years with the Yankee Stadium house band.
