Ari Hoenig
Philadelphia-born drummer and composer Ari Hoenig treats the drum kit as a melodic voice, not just a timekeeper. Now based in Brooklyn, he leads his own trios and quartets, has played with Kenny Werner and Tigran Hamasyan, and teaches at NYU and The New School.
