About the artist
bass
Philadelphia's Christian McBride is among the most in-demand bassists in jazz, a Juilliard alum who was touring with Freddie Hubbard and Bobby Watson as a teen. He leads his big band, Inside Straight and New Jawn, and has played with everyone from McCoy Tyner and Chick Corea to Sting and Paul McCartney.
