Cuban-born, New York-based pianist and composer, son of trova singer Xiomara Laugart. Classically trained at Havana's Amadeo Roldan Conservatory, he later studied jazz at the New School and has played with Roy Hargrove, Steve Turre and Robert Glasper. His weekly Cuban jam is a lively Zinc Bar fixture.
