Trumpeter and composer Summer Camargo, from Hollywood, Florida, earned both her degrees at Juilliard and joined the Saturday Night Live house band in 2022. DownBeat tapped her as a rising star; she has toured with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and her debut To Whom I Love is on Blue Engine Records.
