About the artist
bass
Barcelona-born, New York-based bassist, composer and educator whose projects bridge jazz with Spanish roots, from flamenco-tinged Noneto Iberico to A Lorca Soundscape. His newest work, Silent Film Scores for Social Justice, sets fresh music to century-old silent films about immigration, women's rights and inequality.
