About the artist
vocals
German-born, New York-based singer Theo Bleckmann uses his voice like an instrument, moving between jazz, art song and experimental music. He sang in Meredith Monk's ensemble for 15 years, has worked with Laurie Anderson and John Hollenbeck, and released the album Elegy on ECM in 2017.
