Nick Di Maria
New Haven trumpeter and composer Nick Di Maria is a protégé of Eddie Henderson and directs New Haven Jazz Underground, a grassroots organization keeping jazz alive in Connecticut. He has worked with Abraham Burton, Brian Charette and Peter Bernstein, and his band plays original straight-ahead jazz and jazz-funk.
