Ehud Asherie
Israeli-born pianist Ehud Asherie plays swing and stride in the spirit of Fats Waller and James P. Johnson, with a soft spot for Brazilian music. He learned his craft as a teenager at Smalls, spent nearly two years playing at the Rainbow Room, and appears on the Boardwalk Empire soundtrack.
